Sophia Estrella is a wife, mother of four, leadership coach, trainer, speaker, and DISC Behavioral Consultant with the John Maxwell team and has more than 30 years of leadership experience across corporate, nonprofit, educational, and ministry settings.

 

Holding a Master's in Social Work (MSW) and a deep passion for developing others, Sophia has spent her career helping individuals and organizations thrive through intentional leadership, effective communication, and personal growth.

 

Throughout her career, she has served in leadership roles including Executive Director of Camp Restoration & Elevation Community Center,  Regional supervisor at National Youth Advocate Program,  Supervisor at Human Services Associates and Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School.  In these roles she  has led diverse teams, developed leaders, created programs, facilitated training, and built cultures rooted in excellence, collaboration, and purpose.  While her responsibilities have varied, one mission has remained constant: developing the people behind the positions.

​​Today, through Women's Leadership Lounge,  and her signature program: Rise Women in Leadership, Sophia equips women to lead with confidence, clarity, conviction, and purpose while remaining grounded in their faith and values.  Whether coaching emerging leaders and seasoned leaders, training teams or speaking to organizations, her mission is to help women strengthen their leadership, inspire those they lead, and create a lasting legacy.​
